Strengthening Partnership: SUBEB Social Mobilisation Department and Civil Society
59 CSOs across the 6 ESSPIN-supported states have been selected to partner with Departments of Social Mobilisation of SUBEB to implement consolidation work to be supported over two years.
The work will run alongside ongoing roll-out by states using state resources. ESSPIN will contribute a consolidation fund totalling £1.3 million to support states to strengthen the work with SBMCs, particularly around community voice and accountability, partnership, gender and inclusion.
Implementation of the consolidation work started in March 2015 and run till July 2016. Alongside it ESSPIN will continue to provide technical support to SUBEBs to lead, partner, implement and monitor SBMC development.
